The Best little hotel in California…..
Hello lovelies, apologies for my absence but it’s been a busy time with weddings, parties anything but I’m back on board though sitting here with chattering teeth as Sydney endures it’s coldest morning for 50 years. Winter has indeed arrived!!!
On a fresh note, we have tweeked our home page to highlight our featured products and best sellers. We’ve tried to make it easier for you to navigate around the store and find what you need with ease. We’d love you to visit the site and we’d love your feedback
Our sweet little aussie dollar continues to punch above it’s weight and i’m starting to dream of far away places, like Sephora and Macy’s. With summer on the horizon for the US, I remember one of my favourite places hubby and I visited last year on our California drive holiday. The name sounded corny but the hotel was anything but. If you are thinking of visiting California, do yourself a favour and stay here!
The Tickle Pink Inn at Carmel Highlands is an amazing hotel perched on the hilltop overlooking the rocky coastline close to the Big Sur. We stayed in Suite 16, which has the biggest wrap around balcony and gorgeous sweeping views of the coast, request this suite, it’s the most popular room. Every time we ventured out onto the balcony a local albatross would land on the railing and just stop to say hello and maybe just maybe we’d throw him a strawberry or something. I’ve seen a lot of the world and a lot of hotels, but the romance of this hotel is truely to be experienced with your significant other. Light the fire, don your big fluffy robe and await the antipasto and champagne to be delivered, sheer bliss.

How cool, I just moved to Monterey and this is not too far from me I will have to check it out!
YES YES Sealaura! I forgot to mention, if you get there at dusk they put on a complimentary wine and cheese overlooking the cliffs, perfect way to start the evening!! Thanks for checking in
