Coastal Style Bathrooms…..
The bathroom can be one of the most intimate, relaxing places in your home. A place to light candles and sink into a warm bath after a long day. Shut the door on the world under an invigorating shower. It’s usually the one place in the home to get a little private peace and quiet. So we’ve compiled our favourite bathrooms with a coastal flair to inspire you…..
This coastal inspired bathroom is airy and spacious. The colour tones reflect the sand dunes and we like the discreet partition which separates the toilet from the bathroom.
The Clam shell basin is mermaid chic, the weather boards are beachy and the mirror resembles a port hole.
Loooove this beach bathroom, what better way to display those shells you find upon the shore. The calming light aqua also creates a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind.
Nautical LOVE. White weatherboards, with nautical accents thanks to the rug and soft furnishings. But we think the Dutch windmill is the hero in this bathroom!
Beach Cottage perfection. Matching sinks on either side create beautiful symmetry and we love the use of the seagrass baskets and white wash wooden mirrors. Simple yet classic and easy to maintain.
Apothecary Jars filled with starfish and shells add a touch of class to this already classic coastal bathroom. If your bathroom is bestowed with natural light, you’re lucky, but if not make sure you have fantastic lighting to mimic natural light for better make up application.
Looking for beach bathroom inspiration…visit www.erinvaledesign.com For your colour palette, think of coastal shades such as white, sandy beige, aqua, turquoise, sea glass green and tan. For texture, think white waffle, glass, seagrass, cane, rattan, mother of pearl.
This bathroom is reminiscent of a beach hut with bold yellow stripes. The starfish lined mirror is quaint and works beautifully. To soften the window furnishings, go for a light cane blind or perhaps a white fabric blind which still gives your privacy and light.
Coastal Shades for a nautical bathroom. Go for the lighter shade as your base for the bathroom and add the darker colours for contrast using towels, tiles and accessories.
This bathroom is enchanting. Plenty of space to display your beach finds on distressed timber shelves. The high weatherboard ceilings and aquarium make this my favourite coastal bathroom!
