When I discovered Pinterest, I was like a kid in a candy store. A picture really can tell a thousand words and I love the ability to create story boards and categories. Predictably my Pinterest boards are pure Coastal deliciousness. Exotic places, dreamy decor and beach abodes abound. (There is a ‘doggies I love’ pin board but I couldn’t help myself, dogs really are my weakness.) So as the year draws to a close, let’s look back on the year that was and at our favourite Coastal Home pins. We ♥ Pinterest.

We posted this on Facebook and asked “Who’s coming for dinner?”, we were inundated with acceptances, so if anyone could tell us where we could find this place, we’ll let you know! Keep the champers chilling.

This turquoise ottoman is beyond words. We could stare at this for days, just gorgeous.

Wow, we love the rustic urns, the abaca rope and the plantation shutters at the bottom of the windows to catch the breezes. But we’ll pass on that extra slice of cheesecake, god forbid that bed ripped out of the ceiling!

Now the oranges at half time hockey practice in 84′ never looked like this, but we just love the summery colours!

This pic was very popular on our Facebook page, we all fell in love with the idea of just ripping out that middle plank and going back to our metalwork highschool days and creating a DIY wine trough. We love it!

The ultimate in island extravagance, but I would be nervous at the prospect of a shark swimming beneath my bottom. Then again he’d probably be more terrified.
