Our Eco-friendly cushions from California are an autumn hit as we all bunker down for the cooler weather.

Hand made in the USA, these cute cushions are made from soft organic twill and are hand printed with environmentally safe water based inks. The insert is ‘InnerGreen’ corn fibre filing from a Sydney based company.

We like the opportunity to freshen the decor and help the environment, a guilt free purchase I say!

We’ve been swamped for orders for our Retro Australian Surfing World Canvas Collection. The die-hard surf fans are hearing about these little sweeties around the traps….. we just love them for the simplicity of the surf culture in Australia in the 1960′s.

The sad demise of books…..

With several high profile book shops going into liquidation and the soaring sales of online books, is the writing on the wall?. Could we see the demise of books in our lifetime? Is there a need for books in a physical format anymore? It will be a sad day if this happens, as the beauty of a coffee table book cannot be understated. The aspirational images implore us to relax and dream of glorious interiors and exotic locations. It’s a snapshot in time, of trends and desirable places to visit. It’s the beauty of colour and detail that can sometimes be lost on a computer or ipad.

Our latest arrival of coastal books are classics that will endure long after the last book store has closed. We are a huge fan of Angelika Taschen, her photography and subjects are inspiring and simply stunning. These books just begged to be read time and time again.
